The Justice Involved Support Specialist will support the New York Statewide Comprehensive Screening Project. Reporting to the Program Director of the Justice Involved Program, the Justice Involved Support Specialist will conduct needs-based screening and facilitate referrals for individuals with criminal legal involvement, specifically with the Lackawanna City Court, to community-based organizations that can address their needs. The Justice Involved Support Specialist will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide support and linkages to services that contribute to the underlying causes of an individual's involvement with the criminal legal system.

The Housing Specialist assists homeless mentally ill individuals, including mentally ill chemical abusers to obtain safe, appropriate housing and to maintain residential stability. The Youth Peer Advocate operates within a team of professionals who deliver services to consumers of behavioral health services. Youth Peer Advocate services are formal services and support provided to young people (primarily between the ages of 12-26), who are experiencing social, medical, emotional, developmental, substance use, and/or behavioral challenges. The purpose is to ensure engagement and active participation of the young person in their treatment and decisions that affect their lives. Youth Peer Advocate services are provided by a trained and credentialed Youth Peer Advocate who has personal lived experience as a young person with a social, emotional, medical, developmental, substance use, and/or behavioral challenge, or has received services in any one of the child serving systems (juvenile justice, foster care, special education, or addiction recovery). Youth Peer Advocate services can be provided in individual and group settings.
Family Peer Advocacy Services are an array of services and support systems provided to families raising a child or young adult up to age 21 who is experiencing social, emotional, addiction, or behavioral health challenges in their home, school, community, and/or placement. Family Peer support services are provided by a trained and credentialed Family Peer Advocate (FPA) who is uniquely qualified to work with families based on their personal lived experience parenting a child with similar needs and the specialized training they receive. This service provides a structured, strength-based relationship between a credentialed FPA and the parent/caregiver for the benefit of the child/youth. The purpose of this service is to support the parent/caregiver and enhance their skills so they can promote positive youth functioning and their child’s ability to live successfully in their community.

Youth Development Specialist are responsible for providing and monitoring programming designed to develop students' knowledge of specific activities, according to the Youth Development Specialist skill-sets, interests, hobbies and educational background. Youth Development Specialist are positive, professional and work to the best of their ability during the after school hours. Youth Development Specialist can deliver age-appropriate lessons, activities and/or clubs that encompass hands-on learning, community services, and community-linked activities. Youth Development Specialist will communicate any needs, issues or feedback to the Site Coordinator in a timely manner so that any needs or student behavior (good or bad) can be addresses and dealt with efficiently. Grades served vary per site and range from kindergarten to grade 12.
After School Teachers will work with the Site Coordinator, School Principals and School Day Staff on setting academic goals that reflect program and district objectives for all students enrolled in the after school program. After School Teachers are responsible for providing and monitoring programming designed to increase state and local test scores in reading and math. Teachers are positive, professional and work to the best of their ability during the after school hours. Hours vary by each school site. Per Diem hours.
The Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) RN Supervisor is responsible for all professional nursing duties as required. They will provide training and supervision to other nursing staff, including licensed practical nurses and any on-call or part-time registered nurses. They are responsible for compliance to regulations, policies, and procedures. They will ensure the continuity of care within the maintenance medication programs. They will maintain clear communication with pharmaceutical contacts to work toward improving medication access and adhering to DEA and OASAS regulations. The Admission Counselor is responsible for conducting all admission assessments and maintaining utilization. The Admission Counselor will do this by managing referral calls and scheduling assessments, determining patient eligibility for treatment, and organizing admissions. It requires conducting follow-ups with referral sources and families, making referrals for non-eligible individuals, and orienting new patients to the treatment program. Responsibilities also include completing documentation, maintaining referral statistics, providing direct care services, and maintaining contact with other referral programs. Building strong partnerships, participating in meetings, and assisting in patient transportation are also key components of the role.

The Director of Residential Treatment will have oversight of all residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services. The Teacher at RAS is responsible for developing individual education plans tailored to each participant’s needs, creating daily assignments across subjects for participants in school, and promptly correcting and returning assignments in a timely manner. The role also entails maintaining accurate grade records and providing average grades every ten weeks. Additionally, preparing participants for standardized tests such as NYS testing, Regents testing, or GED testing is part of the role.
