Program Director of Recovery Community

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $56,100 – $60,000 Personalized salary reflecting your related experience and academic/credentialed background.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participates in development of program budget.
  • Monitors and manages program operation to assure delivery of services within contracted levels in accordance with available resources.
  • Provides personnel management, administration of personnel policies, staff and student meetings and supervision, staff evaluations, recruitment of staff and related functions.
  • Assures maintenance of physical plant and compliance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintains program activities in compliance with Lake Shore, Erie County, New York State, and/or other regulatory agencies.
  • Assures completion and accuracy of all statistical, attendance and other reports.
  • Coordinates program's relationship with other agencies and community resources.
  • Assures accuracy of all record keeping including client chart documentation.
  • Participates in all relevant agency meetings and committees.
  • Maintains collaborative relationship with partner agency, PreventionFocus.
  • Oversees Advisory Committee recruitment and monthly meetings.
  • Develops and assures implementation of treatment team meetings.
  • Leads team in formulation of program content based on client needs.
  • Directs community outreach activities.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • OMH Certified Peer Specialist or OASAS Certified Peer Advocate certification required. OASAS CRPA preferred.
  • Master's Degree and QHP certification in a field specified by NYS OASAS, and at least three years of relevant direct service experience, including one year of supervisory responsibility. -OR- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field, and seven years relevant direct service experience, including at least two years of supervisory responsibility, and CASAC or other QHP certification.
  • Insert required/preferred education and experience.
  • Must have knowledge of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) diagnosis, treatment and practice
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of relevant community resources and SUD treatment system structure.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to maintain records and prepare reports.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for the oversight of the Recovery Community team. Supervisory responsibilities of these direct reports include consistent coaching, feedback, & development, review & approval of timecards, and completing performance reviews & development plans
