Job Title: Revenue Cycle Specialist

Reports To: Revenue Cycle Manager

FLSA Status: Non- Exempt

Notice: 2 Weeks

Grade: 4


The Revenue Cycle Specialist is part of the Revenue Cycle team and can be responsible for any/all aspects of Revenue cycle with duties as assigned.  This position will work closely with insurance carriers, clients, sites and billing.


  • To ensure accurate insurance eligibility, benefits and financial information needed for billing and collection processes. 
  • To enter data accurately and timely into Anasazi.
  • Insurance carriers and clients will be called as necessary regarding coverage, benefits and financials.
  • To inform clients of their benefits and financial responsibility.
  • To work with providers and sites as necessary for enrollment, client financials or eligibility and authorization. 
  • To work all appropriate follow up for all processes and procedures.
  • Other duties but are not limited to:  Daily site Intakes with insurance verification.  Provider enrollment or authorizations when assigned.  Work closely with sites, insurance carrier and clients. 
  • Schedule and assigned duties are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the clients we serve.

  • Proficient with computer systems, networks and software applications, such as word and spreadsheets. 


  • Associates degree preferred with 2 years' medical office/billing experience or High School Diploma with 2 years' medical office/billing experience
