SUMMARY OF DUTIES: |

The ACT Program Director establishes, administers, and directs the Assertive Community Treatment program, a self-contained clinical team which assumes responsibility for directly providing needed treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients with severe and persistent mental illness as assigned by the Erie County Department of Mental Health Single Point of Entry Coordinator. The Program Director supervises and evaluates the multidisciplinary team in conjunction with appropriate psychiatric support to ensure service excellence, and functions as a practicing clinician on the team. The Program Director directs the day-to-day clinical operations of the team and coordinates the client admission process and services in conjunction with the team psychiatrist. |

QUALIFICATIONS: |

· Possesses a Master's degree in a relevant professional discipline. · Professional (QHP) certification/licensure that meets the NYS Office of Mental Health definition for professional staff. · Possesses three years' full time mental health experience, including one year in a senior clinician or supervisory role AND
