The Senior Counselor Assistant (Senior CA) is responsible for the day to day operations of the front offices of various BestSelf Behavioral Health programs. The Youth Runaway Coordinator will work with clients, meeting them where they are in the community, who have coexisting mental health conditions, substance use, as well as runaway behaviors. The Youth Runaway Coordinator will work with community stakeholders to develop a tracking and reporting system, that allows for better agency and system awareness of the services needed, as well as cross agency collaboration. The Youth Runaway Coordinator will provide individual and group therapy to individuals and support services for their families, as well as crisis counseling. Additionally, the Youth Runaway Coordinator will complete comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, treatment plan, discharge, and link clients as appropriate.


After School Teachers will work with the Site Coordinator, School Principals and School Day Staff on setting academic goals that reflect program and district objectives for all students enrolled in the after school program. After School Teachers are responsible for providing and monitoring programming designed to increase state and local test scores in reading and math. Youth Development Specialist are responsible for providing and monitoring programming designed to develop students' knowledge of specific activities, according to the Youth Development Specialist skill-sets, interests, hobbies and educational background. Youth Development Specialist are positive, professional and work to the best of their ability during the after school hours. Youth Development Specialist can deliver age-appropriate lessons, activities and/or clubs that encompass hands-on learning, community services, and community-linked activities. Youth Development Specialist will communicate any needs, issues or feedback to the Site Coordinator in a timely manner so that any needs or student behavior (good or bad) can be addresses and dealt with efficiently. The Residential RN Supervisor for Lighthouse and Renaissance Addiction Services is responsible for all professional nursing duties as required. The Residential RN Supervisor provides training and supervision to other nursing staff, including licensed practical nurses and any on-call or part-time registered nurses. The Residential RN Supervisor is responsible for compliance to regulations, policies and procedures. The Residential RN Supervisor will ensure the continuity of care within the maintenance medication programs. The Residential RN Supervisor will maintain clear communication with pharmaceutical contacts to work toward improving medication access. The Residential RN Supervisor will oversee and/or coordinate insurance communications to obtain prior authorizations and any other communication as necessary. The Residential RN Supervisor must be willing to allocate time to multiple clinics.


The Transitional Specialist is the member of the multidisciplinary team who assumes primary responsibility for assisting resident in development of housing plans and to identify educational/vocational resources in the community. Works in collaboration with Case Manager to ensure that residents obtain needed off site support services. Helps clients determine their eligibility for social services and other benefits and assists in the application process when needed. Teaches daily living skills to clients.

Life Skills Coach

The Life Skills Coach provides intensive in-home services that teach independent living skills to housed participants. The goal is to provide services and supports that will help the individual to achieve and maintain community stability through teaching and reinforcement of independent living skills, identifying and using other resources in the community, and monitoring of health and nutrition.


The Housing Specialist assists homeless mentally ill individuals, including mentally ill chemical abusers to obtain safe, appropriate housing and to maintain residential stability. Services provided may include identifying appropriate housing options, coordinating services with housing agencies, determining client eligibility for government financed housing programs, facilitate resolution of landlord/tenant conflict, and assisting client to develop daily living skills. The majority of time is spent in direct client services, providing crisis and ongoing counseling and psychotherapy to new and ongoing clients.


The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing coordinated treatment. The PNP engages the consumer in the shared decision making about medication and the next steps in medication treatment. The Claims Specialist is responsible for maintaining, entering, and following up on all client medical insurance and financial information. The position prepares claim data for transmission to Medicaid, Medicare, and Managed Care plans. A Claims Specialist will organize billing and rebilling materials as well as create and analyze reports from the billing system to provide feedback to program sites. The Peer Specialist operates within a team of professionals who deliver services to consumers of Behavioral Health Services. The Peer Specialist delivers peer support services with rehabilitation and recovery focus, with a primary goal of connecting individuals to community based recovery supports consistent with the treatment/recovery plan. The Site Facilitator is responsible for managing the expanded learning programs at various school and community sites. Grades served vary per site and range from kindergarten to grade 12. Responsibilities include recruiting and enrolling students, provide programming designed to improve social emotional skills, increase academic achievement and provide positive youth development opportunities. Family Peer Advocacy Services are an array of services and support systems provided to families raising a child or young adult up to age 21 who is experiencing social, emotional, addiction, or behavioral health challenges in their home, school, community, and/or placement. Family Peer support services are provided by a trained and credentialed Family Peer Advocate (FPA) who is uniquely qualified to work with families based on their personal lived experience parenting a child with similar needs and the specialized training they receive. This service provides a structured, strength-based relationship between a credentialed FPA and the parent/caregiver for the benefit of the child/youth. The purpose of this service is to support the parent/caregiver and enhance their skills so they can promote positive youth functioning and their child’s ability to live successfully in their community.
