Program Director of Renaissance Addiction Services

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $56,100 - $60,000 Personalized salary reflecting your related experience and academic/credentialed background.


SUMMARY OF DUTIES

The Program Director reports directly to the Director of Residential Treatment. The Program Director is responsible for directing, coordinating, and supervising the staff and service activities of the program. The Program Director is responsible for maintaining the policies and procedures that enable and encourage the optimum performance and goal attainment of the clinical programs. The Program Director assures quality, continuity, and comprehensiveness of services to patients and performs administrative duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for the oversight of the Residential programs and teams. Supervisory responsibilities of these direct reports include consistent coaching, feedback, & development, review & approval of timecards, and completing performance reviews & development plans.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assures that treatment services are delivered consistent with program standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversees and monitors eligibility, level of treatment and discharge criteria for the program to assure consistency with program standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assures that patient charts are accurate, up to date, and in compliance with program standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assists with policy and procedure development and changes to ensure accurate reflection of day-to-day program operation and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Over sees the ongoing operations of all treatment and clinical activities and assures compliance with all governmental and program regulations and policies.
  • Monitors all treatment activities to assure the quality, continuity, and comprehensiveness of services to patients.
  • Monitors the implementation of all patient treatment plans. Regularly reviews patient charts and works with counselors and supervisors to correct deficiencies.
  • Participates in weekly multidisciplinary case conferences to evaluate patient treatment progress.
  • Provides consultation regarding discharge/aftercare plans.
  • As needed acts as 24 hour on call supervisor.
  • Implementation of evidence-based practices.
  • Completes all trainings required by the agency.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualified Health Professional plus 5 years full-time paid direct care experience in a chemical dependency program including 2 years supervisory experience. Experience providing services to adolescents also required.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of relevant community resources and SUD treatment system structure.
  • The ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and advocacy skills.
