Business Systems Analyst

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Starting Range: $24.18-$26.38 per hour for 35 hours Full Time

Located at 255 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, NY 

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

The Business Systems Analyst will bridge the gap between business needs, problems, opportunities,

and solutions by involving process improvement and technology. The Business Systems Analyst will improve or create organizational systems that reduce waste and/or increase operational efficiency through systems analysis and by leveraging process improvement and technology solutions. This position supports efforts to identify process improvement opportunities, reduce inefficiencies, and leverage technology driving automation across the organization.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Assists with organizational and process improvement/transformation initiatives through Lean principles, automation, and partnership with organizational stakeholders.

·  Consults with a variety of stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs and requirements and assists with designing and developing solutions to meet those needs.

·  Leverages data and communication with internal stakeholders to identify systems and process bottlenecks, process gaps, and waste.

·  Assists with the analysis, design, and maintenance of technology solutions that will drive client and staff satisfaction and organizational efficiency.

·  Leverages the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, etc.) to automate business processes and develop data collection and reporting systems.

·  Assists with the development, management, and maintenance of the organization's Microsoft Power Platform environment.

·  Collaborates with the Quality Improvement and Information Systems teams to produce high quality reports, dashboards, and data collection mechanisms for internal and external stakeholders.

·  Support grant compliance and evaluation activities including the development of effective data collection, monitoring, and reporting systems.

·  Trains end users on developed solutions

·  Develops and maintains standardized documentation and procedures.

·  Completes all trainings required by the agency.

·  Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Associate degree in Business, Technology, Healthcare, Math, or related field.

·  Process improvement experience and/or LEAN certification a plus.

·  Possess an eagerness to learn and develop new skills.

·  Knowledge or experience with Microsoft 365, the Microsoft Power Platform, and/or other low code, business intelligence, data, or automation technologies.

·  Experience with healthcare processes and/or information technology systems.

·  Demonstrated knowledge of data, data management, and data systems.

·  Capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting multiple project deadlines.

·  Excellent organizational & time management skills in a fast-paced environment.

·  Excellent communication skills using all methods.
