The site facilitator is responsible for managing the expanded learning programs at various school and community sites. Grades served vary per site and range from kindergarten to grade 12. Responsibilities include recruiting and enrolling students, provide programming designed to improve social emotional skills, increase academic achievement and provide positive youth development opportunities. The facilitator is responsible for developing and coordinating the expanded learning program at their assigned site. This includes recruiting and supervising program staff and students, designing program schedule that supports program objectives, managing site specific budget and completing and maintain all required data, reports and paperwork.

Family Peer Advocacy Services are an array of services and support systems provided to families raising a child or young adult up to age 21 who is experiencing social, emotional, addiction, or behavioral health challenges in their home, school, community, and/or placement.

The Resident Support Specialist assists in maintaining a stable and therapeutic environment in the residence.
The Victim Advocate of the Child Advocacy Center works within a Multi-Disciplinary Team. The caseload consists of primary and secondary victims of child sexual abuse and severe physical abuse, and is shared by the team members. The Victim Advocate assists clients by providing information and referrals based on an assessment of client and family need, advocacy throughout the investigative process, supportive counseling and linkage to the NYS Office of Victim Services.
The Case Manager works with other community agencies through discharge planning and referrals to community-based services upon discharge. This individual may also provide case management services. The Case Manager performs all counseling duties including resident advocacy and aftercare follow up. Must be able to support a trauma informed care environment.

A licensed health care practitioner who provides nursing care under the direction of an RN, NP, physician, physician assistant. LPNs provide compassionate care that is respectful of each patient's needs, values and wishes. The LPN is responsible for monitoring the health status of clients at the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. She/he responds to any emergencies in accordance with established policies and procedures and is responsible and accountable for providing direct and indirect patient care procedures reflective of BestSelf Behavioral Health mission and values.
Our Registered Nurses are responsible for all professional nursing duties as required. Enforces policy regarding storage and inventory of sample medications, use of sharps containers, and medical waste management. Provides group and individual treatment. Develops treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, and formulates a diagnostic impression. Adheres to basic standards of nursing in conjunction with all NYS licensing standards.

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for the day to day operations of the front offices of various BestSelf Behavioral Health programs. The CSR is expected to perform the secretarial, clerical, data entry and processing duties of their respective program. The CSR is also expected to provide exceptional customer service and care for BestSelf Behavioral Health consumers. Various locations include: Buffalo, North Collins, Orchard Park, Amherst. Schedule could range anywhere between 8AM to 8PM depending on department/program
The Peer Specialist operates within a team of professionals who deliver services to consumers of Behavioral Health Services. The Peer Specialist delivers peer support services with rehabilitation and recovery focus, with a primary goal of connecting individuals to community based recovery supports consistent with the treatment/recovery plan. People with personal experience as a recipient of mental health and/or substance use treatment or of personal recovery are encouraged to apply. The Targeted Case Manager performs activities within the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that are intended to support the wellness and recovery goals of individuals with complex and/or chronic behavioral health issues and needs by implementing targeted interventions designed to provide timely, high-quality, and efficient care. CCBHC Targeted Case Management services are organized around goals aimed at providing access to services that encourage individuals to resolve problems that interfere with their attainment or maintenance of independence or self sufficiency, and maintain themselves in the community. Individuals served will be within targeted populations who are not linked to Health Home services. Locations include in Buffalo, Orchard Park and North Collins

Responsible for supporting counseling staff in the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. Will provide supporting duties including requesting and organizing clinical/medical records, completing supportive documents for counseling staff, providing support to counselors as needed.
The Youth Peer Advocate will be a Young Adult who is willing to self- identify as a person who has, or is receiving, mental health services as a youth or young adult, and is prepared to use that experience to collaborate with, coach and challenge other youth to view their life experiences as an opportunity for growth and change. The Youth Peer Advocate operates within a team of professionals who deliver services to consumers of Behavioral Health Services. The Youth Peer Advocate delivers peer support services with rehabilitation and recovery focus, with a primary goal of connecting individuals to community based recovery supports consistent with the treatment/recovery plan. Honesty, respect for diversity, high personal standards, professional language and behavior reflecting such values are required. Full time-35 hours weekly.
Youth Development Specialist are responsible for providing and monitoring programming designed to develop students' knowledge of specific activities, according to the Youth Development Specialist skill-sets, interests, hobbies and educational background. Youth Development Specialist are positive, professional and work to the best of their ability during the after school hours. Youth Development Specialist can deliver age-appropriate lessons, activities and/or clubs that encompass hands-on learning, community services, and community-linked activities. Youth Development Specialist will communicate any needs, issues or feedback to the Site Coordinator in a timely manner so that any needs or student behavior (good or bad) can be addressed and dealt with efficiently. Grades served vary per site and range from kindergarten to grade 12.
After School Teachers will work with the Site Coordinator, School Principals and School Day Staff on setting academic goals that reflect program and district objectives for all students enrolled in the after school program. After School Teachers are responsible for providing and monitoring programming designed to increase state and local test scores in reading and math. Teachers are positive, professional and work to the best of their ability during the after school hours. Hours vary by each school site. Part time & Per Diem hours
The Social-Emotional Coordinator (SEC) provides Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) supports to students within grades K?12 with the grade levels varying per site. The SEC is responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate social emotional interventions that align with the program and school goals. The SEC facilitates social emotional supports for the designated target population during the expanded learning time and designated times throughout the school day.
